Under this new blog series ‘Against the Grain,‘ we will be posting stories, projects, and progress from our wood shop. At the heart of our mission is teaching people about the wonderful woods we work with, to educate about sustainability and responsible stewardship, and to shed light on the science that makes lumber look the way it does.
We will share behind the scenes stories on how we design and build custom projects, and provide woodworking tips for those wishing to learn more about the craft.
